Your tasks: 📌

  • Review and analyze customer specifications to support design requirements and project execution.

  • Inspect customer-supplied components and assist in determining appropriate disposition.

  • Develop and modify tank, frame, and structural designs based on electrical and engineering requirements.

  • Prepare detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support accurate component procurement.

  • Create, modify, and revise detailed drawings, including customer-supplied components, assemblies, tanks, cores, and frames.

  • Perform in-process inspections to verify manufacturing compliance with design requirements, dimensions, and specifications.

  • Assist with insulation clearance validation and other design verification activities.

  • Support assembly drawing development and production documentation.

  • Stay current with industry standards, technical developments, and engineering practices through conferences and technical publications.

  • Assist in developing and automating standard designs and programming workflows using SolidWorks.

Your profile: 🔎

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical design within heavy equipment, transformers, or similar industries.

  • Strong understanding of structural mechanics and fabrication methods.

  • Experience with CAD tools and mechanical calculation methods.

  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards (ASME, IEEE, ANSI).

  • Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on mindset.
